Thailand/Cambodia Hotels Booked!

My trip to Thailand and Cambodia next month is starting to shape up quite nicely. A flight attendant friend (ThomasMatthew) and I will be leaving the US on January 10th and will be flying to Narita (Tokyo) and then heading to Bangkok. We will arrive at about 1am on the 12th and head to our hotel. We will be staying here -- http://www.sawasdee-hotels.com/bangkok/langsuaninn/index.html
On the morning of the 13th we will be taking the scenic train (they are all scenic..and SLOW) to the Thai-Cambodian border and then cross and head to Siem Reap via hired taxi. In Siem Reap we will be staying here... http://www.starwoodhotels.com/lemeridien/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1825. I want to give a public shout-out to TM for being so gracious to cash in his points so that we could stay at this place, it is supposedly phenomenal.
On the 18th we are floating down the lake between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh and staying in the Capitol city for three nights at the Blue Lime http://www.bluelime.asia/presentation.html.
Our last adventure will be a flight on AirAsia from Phnom Penh on the 21st and staying one last night in Bangkok http://www.thongtaresort.com/index.html
I will be boarding a plane to head back to the US on the 22nd in Bangkok which will take me back to Narita and then back to Minneapolis. I will actually land on the 22nd which is like gaining my two days back that I lost getting to Southeast Asia.
Brace for LOTS of pics to appear on the blog once I get back!

Thinking Out Loud

* -10 is just as cold as it sounds like it would be.

* Who knew that there could be "significant snowfall" when it was 0 outside?

* Las Vegas is just a lot of fun.

* Why do dogs get so daggone jealous?

* If a bank offers you a $25 gift card as an apology, just ask for $25 to be put into your checking account. Spending a Master Card gift card is FAR FAR FAR too complicated.

* I'm starting to get excited about going to Cambodia.

* I might need two full weeks in Cambodia to thaw completely.

* Watching a Bob Huggins coached team is painful after watching four years of beautiful John Beilein basketball BUT Huggins wins more!

* Jim Cramer is too loud.

* I find it humorous that heavy snow and negative temps don't even phase Minnesota residents.

* Cats are the strangest animals on the planet but that is also their charm.

* I'm anxious to get my CD of pictures from KodakGallery so that I can repost them to Google and Picasa and Blogger!
